Hi, I’m Alexandra! I used to think writing meant locking myself in a room and suffering like a Victorian novelist. Now I know it’s more like hitting the gym:
Writing is a muscle you can train.
Consistency turns tiny reps into big results.
Writing with others keeps training fun.
I never thought that the gym would work for me. Alexandra remembered I once told her I wouldn’t be able to write daily with given prompts. But here I am. C'MON! works for me because there are so many amazing writers I got the chance to talk to and get inspired by. Another thing that makes me push harder is Alexandra's support and the fact that she is always present for us. It's a place where I can experience many writing forms and due of it I think my day-to-day writings improved.

C’MON! always feel like an amazing check-in for me – to remind myself of my intention, my love of the technical side, and also through Alexandra’s inspiringly chaotic energy, a great reminder that art can be quirky and fun! Because I do tend to take it a bit too seriously. I am so excited to have Alexandra as a guide and inspiration for the rest of my writing life, because us artists always could use a bit more of community, lightheartedness, technical boosts, and of course: c’monraderie.

CMON! turned out to be one of the best surprises this summer had to offer me. The perfect nudge to keep me writing, inspired and connected with other fellow creatives. I found myself more than once beginning or ending my day writing a short text inspired by Alexandra's original prompts. And whether I wrote daily or not, CMON! quickly became part of my routine. Reading short pieces written by others was equally delightful. Very excited for what's to come!
