Every December, C’MON! gym prepares for its ultimate workout: the secret santa poem exchange.
C’MON! is a creative writing gym where all text bodies are beautiful. No matter what shape your words are in, we're here to craft workout plans that feel just right for you. Our gym is all about breaking a sweat, knocking perfectionism out of the ring, and flexing those creative muscles.
We’re currently working on getting everything in place, so we're only running workshops every now and then. But don’t worry, we’re cooking up some exciting courses and a gym membership model.

Submissions via email or DMs on socials are not accepted, but feel free to send your love letters there!
Unfortunately, no. The poems must be written in English, as the exchange is global.

Just remember, we're sending these out during the holidays, so be mindful and empathic. "What would I want to receive on this day?" is the question I'd ask myself.
C'MON! will always encourage creativity and free expression while fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants. We kindly ask contributors to refrain from submitting content that includes:
- Discriminatory language, hate speech, or content targeting any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or background.
- Explicit sexual content or graphic depictions of violence.
- Content that promotes harm, self-harm, or illegal activities.
We recognise that poetry often explores sensitive or difficult topics; however, we urge all participants to handle such themes with care and consideration for others. We believe in celebrating creativity while prioritsing kindness, empathy, and mutual respect in our community. Submissions that do not align with these guidelines may be moderated or removed.

We system in place to randomly match you with a fellow writer. Once submissions are in, we shuffle the names. Your poem goes to a random partner, but you won’t get theirs! Instead, you’ll get a poem from a different person. This way, we avoid any confusion where the same people might be sending poems to each other.
Then we panic.
Just kidding. If your poem hasn’t landed by December 24 (end of day), please shoot us a message. We've never had such a tragedy, but we’re here to make sure everyone gets their holiday cheer.
